Botany and Foraging Plant Walk and Mini Intensive for Herbalists, Gardeners and Nature Lovers!

You will leave this super fun and informative class prepared to correctly identify and safely forage! We decided to break this class into 2 parts, Botany A and Botany B. You can take one or both! Each class will be 3 to 4 hours out in nature (Palos Verdes area - exact location will be sent to you). No prerequisite required. This class is for everyone from budding herbalists to master gardeners and anyone in between. Botany A, Sept 22nd - The first eight plant families, you will learn how to correctly identify, harvest and how to use them!  Botany B October 6th - The second eight plant families, you will learn how to correctly identify, harvest and use them. We will be making medicine and eating herbs we find! This class series is led by herbalist and forager Austin Robertson, who has spent the last 10 years immersing himself in the study of herbalism, wild plants, and foraging.
