Tom Rice Hand-Painted Dial Edition

This watch is built on the same rugged platform as the original Praesidus A-11 Tom Rice; a field-tested design inspired by the WWII spec worn by U.S. servicemen. But this edition carries something more. Each dial is hand-painted by British artist Matt Anderson, based on Tom Rice’s personal account of his D-Day jump into Normandy. The scene captures the descent, the shoreline, and the chaos of June 6, 1944, a moment that shaped history and gave birth to Praesidus. To achieve the right tone and durability, we tested multiple paint types, layering techniques, and protective finishes. The result is a dial that blends art and function, built to last and designed to honor.
