UTAH Beach A-11 - Black

The Utah Beach A-11 was developed as a unique commemoration piece for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Made with sand we collected at UTAH BEACH on June 6th 2023, the dial is meant to represent the entire operation's area of D-Day. Made in collaboration with the UTAH BEACH LANDING MUSEUM, we will donate upwards of 30 watches to WW2 Veterans in attendance at the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. The top "color" dial's cut is in the shape of the Normandy coast where all 5 original D-Day Landing Beaches were situated: UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO & SWORD. These 5 landing areas are also marked accurately on the dial providing a full overview of the operation. For the indexes, we've gone with a pretty creative approach. The top half of the dial has been punched through letting the sand shine through and act as the indexes. For the bottom half, we've used a transparent dial on which we've printed solid indexes.
