Durham Cider - Pressed Love (750 mL)

Durham Cider's Pressed Love is a single varietal cider made with 100% Gravenstein apples. This cider is a party pleaser of a pet-nat that is part sour, part funk, part pounder. This cider showcases a special heirloom apple variety that is in danger of disappearing. Made with 100% Gravenstein apples, certified organic, from the dry-farmed, 140+ year old Gowan's Orchard in Philo, CA.  Spontaneously fermented with native/wild yeast, with no additives (no added sugar or sulfites, unfined and unfiltered). Bottled prior to fermentation finishing (Petillant Naturel).  This cider drinks semi-dry with well balanced tannins and acidity. It has a tart candy vibe to it reminiscent of smarties or pixie sticks, with notes of apple skin, lemon lime, lime zest, and citrus pith.  Bottle Artwork by Courtney Gayer | Vintage: 2019
