Eve's Cidery - Golden Russet Cider (750 mL)
Eve's Cidery's Golden Russet is a single varietal cider made 100% from Golden Russet apples grown on Eve's orchard in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Naturally fermented in oak barrels with the wild/native yeast from the fruit and in the cidery. Secondary fermentation occurs in bottle, then disgorged in the Traditional Method (a.k.a. Method Champenoise). The result is a fantastic, sparkling dry cider that is bright and fruity. This cider drinks bone-dry with a lovely collection of characteristics we love from Golden Russet apples. Apple skins, tropical notes, stone fruit, and honey aromatics. Lush and highly sparkling. Medium-plus to high acidity provides a mouthwatering juiciness that rinses through the bone-dry palate. Notes of citrus peel, lightly bitter, green apple skins, dried pineapple, eucalyptus, yellow peach, waxy honeycomb, earthy twig, light caramel, and fresh apple. This cider was a favorite of ours from a recent tasting of Eve's ciders - we wanted to put it
