Château Coujan La Pinot Noir 2024

Château Coujan La Pinot Noir is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Saint-Chinian appellation of Languedoc-Roussillon. The vines are planted on clay-limestone hillsides at 140 meters elevation with sandstone gravel soil over fossilized coral rock. Florence Guy farms this fifth-generation estate organically since 2008. Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, then fermented spontaneously in concrete tanks with short maceration and temperature control. The wine is bottled the following spring after light filtration with minimal sulfur at 13% ABV.
