This exquisite and dynamic abstract mixed media series by European artist Lucy Adamczyk (went by the name Saozi) created between the mid-1960s and early 1970s, captures the essence of mid-century artistic exploration. Though little is known about the artist, this beautiful drawing is a classic example of Mid-Century modern Abstraction. The broken space, bold lines, vibrant geometrics and repetitious motifs are abstraction at its purest. These pieces stand as a testament to Adamczyk's ability to channel the innovative spirit of Abstraction in the manner of such artists as Josef Albers.
