Garden summer folk art ONION man wearing eggplant suit - misc

DESCRIPTION: Lots of adorable detail on this garden summer folk art onion man! He stands 8 inches tall. Check out the green spouts, the onion skin and his eggplant suit with a pocket full of snap peas! I added some nice texture to his collar. The orange carrot adds a pop of color! This one has a chunky style hand cut wood base. Super cute with those big glossed up eyes! Signed original art!  All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced. All artwork on this site and my Etsy shop are one of a kind pieces.
