Primitive art character man with nails into heart

DESCRIPTION:Primitive art character man with a fine crackle sheen finish! This wacky guy stands 7.5 inches tall. He has a little touch of steampunk with that nail heart and eyes. Look at all photo's up close to see that wonderful finish! I just love creating this type of piece all of which I don't do often enough. The base is wood with same finish only muted. Signed original art! All artwork is hand painted with layers of paint, sealed with stain and a light coating of beeswax. Each character starts off as a sketch then I build an armature. I add clay, the clay is processed then painted with layers of paint. None of the pieces I create are reproduced.
