Only one region of the world - Puna District is the size of Oahu Island and overlays the active volcano Kilauea. The youngest soil in the United States on the leading Windward Edge of Big Island, Puna is constantly experiencing Renewal. Fresh lava creates new land while rain and heat weathers it for new homes to Ohia then fern and fast growing trees that quickly fell in the hard tradewinds creating new organic material. This ecosystem combined with cacao is a truly bold terroir.  Our single district bars are made in larger 2.2oz molds than our regular bars.
