Amethyst and Silver Earrings

Beautiful faceted trillion cut amethyst gemstones dangle from fine silver diamond shape discs.  The silver is textured with a fanciful fern pattern.  A patina has been applied and they have been hand polished to bring out the delightful details of the fern fronds.  Trillion shapes are like triangles but with rounded sides.   Details: Length is 1 1/2 inches by 5/8 inch Textured fine silver diamond shaped discs Sterling silver ear wires 6mm faceted trillion cut natural amethyst gemstones Fine silver metal clay consists of fine silver particles and a binder.  After forming, drying, refining the piece is fired in a kiln.  During this time the binder burns off and the result is a piece that is .999 pure silver.
