The Ratsnax Kidney-Friendly Mix is a dry, everyday food mix that will keep your rats happy and healthy. Our combination of high-quality ingredients (based on the Shunamite Mix) covers rats' nutritional needs while retaining diversity in taste and texture to provide enrichment. Rats' kidneys tend to deteriorate as they age, but feeding a diet that is low in protein and certain minerals can reduce and decelerate that process.
