A cross between the Jonathan Gold and Golden Delicious varieties. Produces bright red fruit with a yellow-green basic color showing through the red. Splashes of yellow-green color usually appear on the fruit as well. Produces white flowers in spring. The large, sweet and thin skinned fruit is crisp, juicy with a sweet, tangy taste.
