A medium weave, absorbent canvas that grabs the paint for opaque and textured effects. 56MC Medium Cotton is a double acrylic primed, 100% pure cotton duck canvas with a medium weave, uniform textured used by students and professional artists. Instead of your paint sliding around on a slick surface, this absorbent canvas grabs the paint for an opaque effect yet keeps your brushstroke visible to create textured landscape. 56MC is ideal for workshops and artists developing their craft as an affordable yet professional grade surface. This canvas is mounted to our 1/8" MDF panel. Our MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is an extremely rigid, double refined hardboard with no added oils. The back of the board is sealed with our signature gray melamine for a finished look that prevents warping and deterioration.
