Kaolin Rice Bowl, Graphite

The Kaolin rice bowl honors the most important piece in the Asian family cupboard. Perfectly sized to fit in the hand and proportioned for individual servings, the rice bowl is a single vessel that can carry an Asian meal from beginning to end. It's also perfectly sized for noodles and soup or yogurt and dips. The bowl rests on a sculptural foot in the form of a spherical cross-section. Each piece was made with care by an artisan workshop in Vermont, using a custom porcelain clay mix.  5”D x 2.75"H Care: The porcelain pieces are dishwasher safe; however we recommend hand washing. The unglazed parts of each piece are susceptible to staining, so avoid serving beets, pomegranate, turmeric and other highly pigmented foods.
