Black and white checked brooch

My inspiration for these broaches was that I wanted an alternative to a tie, a scarf or jewelry to wear with my suit jackets. Something just more fashionable! The design is influenced by the large broaches women wore in the 40's. With men's wear being this season's latest trend a brooch like this has become a statement piece. Made with poly-silk checked fabric framed with black grosgrain ribbon and a vintage button as an accent. Measures 4" x 4"
