RCC Artist Edition T-Shirt - Taylor Brubaker
Oregon Experiences by Taylor Brubaker At least once a week I hear about about some new-to-me magical experience that’s possible as a day or overnight trip in our great state of Oregon. We live in a literal bounty of activities and potentially life changing outdoor adventures. As the list keeps growing it’s convenient to find a celebratory occasion to shirk urban responsibilities and go live hard in lesser traveled parts of our home state. One such occasion turned up last year and it just happened to be soon after I found a Krasnogorsk-3 16mm camera at a garage sale for $20. With that and 5 friends including our captain, Kelly Laviolette, we went out of Nehalem Bay to experience Ocean fisheries like most of us had never done. The sort is a celebration of the rich fishing experiences on the Oregon coast. Most fishing trips will drop crab pots on the way out to fish for other species so even if the salmon, ling, halibut, etc bite is slow there is almost always a guarantee for fresh crab
