The artwork on this shirt is a screen print of a photograph taken by Wendy Neefus in 1984.  About Wendy Neefus: When I was a child my grandparents would take my brothers and me for walks into the woods while they photographed the wildlife of the Hudson Valley in upstate New York. I have so many memories watching deer run through fields as their white tails would disappear into the distance, spying on small fox families as they played around their den and we’d spend hours calling geese from the shore of a pond. My grandparents had a deep connection to the valley between the Berkshire and Catskill Mountains and spent their lives exploring the beautiful wildlife and capturing images that showed a deeper appreciation for the land they lived in. My grandfather, Wendover Neefus Jr “Wendy” and my grandmother Virginia “Jinny” spent nearly 50 years running a photography studio in Hudson, NY.
