Dell PowerConnect 3548P PoE Switch Description: The Dell PowerConnect 3548P is a layer 2 Power over Ethernet network switch that is perfect for combined voice and data networks. The 3548P is a Fast Ethernet (10/100) switch that offers 48 ports and up to 17.6 Gbps switch capabilities. An additional two combo ports (RJ-45 / SFP) are available for resilient stacking with the switch. These ports are 10/100/1000 Gigabit. The Dell PowerConnect 3548P supports advanced management features such as broadcast storm control, auto-speed and auto-duplex negotiation in addition to port mirroring. As a power over Ethernet switch, the Dell 3548P is a IEEE 802.3af compliant network device that can provide the full 15.4W to end devices such as IP phones. The Dell 3548P requires the Dell EPS-470 Extended Power Supply in order for the Dell 3548P to deliver full 15.4 W to all 48 ports.
