1936-1964 Harley Davidson Generator Regulator

This is a New and Improved voltage  Regulator for Harley Davidson models  that use a mechanical regulator.  This part can be used with or without a battery. If it is going to be used without a battery a will require a magneto. This unit provides 12 volt conversion when using a small 12 volt battery. This Re-Designed unit uses the latest technology and equipment making these units very sturdy and reliable. This genator regulator has been manufactured to precisely control voltage and current, maximazing power without risking damage to the generator. Having accurate voltage control is needed to control a proper charging rate on the battery. This will fit your application provided that you had the 12 volt battery in the horse shoe oil tank. This part replaces the mechanic regulator. This unit replaces Harley OE# 2112-0838
