Get Closer + Special Effect Close Up Diopters enable you to get closer focus on large cinema lenses while maintaining edge sharpness and overall image performance. Perfect for anamorphic lenses which generally have an increased minimum focus, these large diopters allow you to reduce your minimum focus distance by as much as half. Donuts! Our new Donut Diopters have a precision cut center hole available in 3 different sizes. Draw selective focus to the center of your frame while leaving the outside of the frame with spherical distortion. Which diopter strength do you need?  Diopter values are based on the metric scale. A +1 diopter will result in 1 meter focus at your lens’ infinity focus setting. If you want to know the new infinity focus in feet, then you will need to convert from 1 meter to 3.3 feet.
