Winemaking Fermented 100% whole cluster for seven days, followed by 20 days of occasional treading, and an additional 35 days of submerged cap extended maceration. Vineyard Steelhead Run is Iruai’s primary vineyard source in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. Right on the banks of the Applegate River, Steelhead Run is nestled in the middle of a beautiful alpine valley in the Siskiyou Mountains. The moderating influences of the river and a slightly higher elevation for the region at around 2,000ft makes this by far the latest fruit to come into the winery.
