RS110T Bass Cabinet

The RS110/RS110T is an anomaly for its size. Danny “Mo” Morris called me after playing a show at the Lesley Performing Arts Center/Marran Theater with the Stan Strickland Ensemble with an RS110. The ensemble was grand piano, drums and percussion, saxophone and Danny on bass. Danny, a full time professor at Berklee in Boston, was born and brought up in NY. Danny Mo can play. So, when he called early Friday morning on December 14, 2012,I had 2 questions: “Why’d you wake me up?” and “Why’d you wake me up?” I had played the night before and my gig went a lot later than his. He said he just wanted to tell me about his gig with Stan and how the head of the Berklee bass dept had come up to him inquiring about his rig. “Well,” Danny said, “I’m using a GK400RB that I’ve had forever…” The gentleman interrupted and reminded Danny that he knew what a GK 400RB was, but what was the cabinet? Danny filled him in and was told that it sounded superb and they were doing a great job at FOH (front of hous
