Nero Marquina marble is originally from the Markina region in the Basque Country, in the North of Spain. It is a deep black limestone that owes its deep color to presence of naturally occurring bitumen. It presents thin white veins and metallic inclusions that become evident with a high polish. Similar qualities are also quarried in Italy, China and Iran. We picked it to create our Nero Marquina Diffuser Tray. A singular piece, our Nero Marquina Diffuser Tray is cut to our design and specifications and being customized, it is not found anywhere else, and it is the perfect companion to our Crystal Diffuser. We drilled a custom bore into its surface to provide a home for the natural stone cap that comes standard with all our diffusers. Presented in a luxurious, custom rigid gift box, our Nero Marquina Diffuser Tray pairs beauty and function, and it is a wonderful gift for lovers of fragrance and mineral specimens.
