A Walk on the Beach

16” x 20” | Oil on canvas This is mostly from imagination and maybe desire. It is primarily inspired by a trip to Florida's beaches not long ago. The body poses of particular interest to me is the woman and the man's physical poses. I like that contrapuntal twist of hips and shoulders. Both of them are displaying that. I'd love to go back to a beach. There's something about laying or sitting on a beach and going into the water, sensing the size of the ocean that connects me with a larger sensation and power of the world.
