28" x 18" | Oil I was busy creating an oil painting of what I intended to be a confident woman. But when I reached this point in my preliminary sketch, she asked me to stop and not go any further. I agreed because she seemed to me to be complete enough. The sketch seemed to take on life. When I look at this oil sketch, she still seems to encourage me and say she is happy.
