BAK25 | BAKUAGE RxA COLLAB 2025「BUNDRIO ブンドリオ」

Back in September of 2024, Christian reached out to me about an idea for a collab. The idea was the word “BAKUAGE” in Kanji with an explosion behind it, inspired by a recent meme he himself had in one of his videos. The original plan was to create a single design that chromatically changes across all six members and release it by Thanksgiving for everyone amid the airing of the series. However, the more I work on this project, the more differences among each unique member of the team I recognize. Creating one design for the whole team wouldn’t do each member justice. Hence, a week-long project extended into a four month journey. Each member of the team has their own unique design, each with their unique symbols and vehicles and backgrounds. After finishing the sixth member, I came back to the original sketch.
