Dove for Peace

The "Dove for Peace" Torchon is, for us at rise, a visual and universal combination of a gentle spirit forever soaring. Doves have always represented the symbol of peace, often carrying an olive branch. We have recognized them in our classes in school about ancient Greek & Roman mythology or even our modern art history classes with Picasso's own 'Dove of Peace" painting for the World Peace Congress. This torchon's vivid French blue color reminds us of such summer skies from the South of France all the way to Texas with its intricate assortment of doves as white embellished dotted clouds. This torchon is simply magnificent on either side.
