The fabric is their Better Butter - a premium soft & stretchy denim that "feels like buttah" with great stretch and shape retention. A midnight dark wash Neuf with no distressing that you can wear to the office, the classroom, dressed up for a night out, or just casually running errands. Depending on your height and leg length, you can wear sneakers, boots, wedges! A versatile jean that will complement your closet! About the fit: Our model is about 5.3" and she's wearing the size 2, which is a size down for her. These are not technically considered petite according to 1822 Denim but they are short-girl friendly! These are a moderate high rise (10") with a 30" inseam.
