Scyphocrinites cf.elegans

This is an incredibly well-preserved TWO heads of Syphocrinites cf. elegans, from the Silurian, near Arfoud in Morocco. The crinoid is a dark blackish-grey lying in its original matrix containing fragments of numerous crinoid stems. The entire plate, matrix and crinoid is 11.5 inches high, 11 inches wide at its widest and 2.0 to 0.6 inches thick. The matrix has been stabilized with a penetrant.
