This shell's exact vertical measurement is 3.850. This shell is a beautifully, heavily figured Birdseye maple, with maple reenforcing rings and bearing edges of a 30 degree outside + 45 degree inside contour. Please view 360 degree video of this complete shell. All Ron Vaughn Solid Shells are sanded through 220 grit outside, and 120 grit inside, then sealed with a light lacquer sealer. This seal coat can be built upon for further finishing, or easily sanded off for other finish applications.
