Bioactive Terrarium Workshop || Sunday, October 26

Sunday, October 2610:00am-11:00am Rooted Living 2918 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60618 Life and death meet in a hauntingly beautiful mini ecosystem in glass. Students will compose living and dead elements in a glass terrarium to bring home, care for, and observe as it evolves. This workshop is not for the faint of heart. We'll be creating mossy, woodsy terrariums featuring a real antlers and creepy crawlies (springtails and isopods, specifically). Just in time for spooky season! We provide all materials and the instruction, and you leave with a nature-inspired, bioactive terrarium, approximately 10" x 10" in size, with live moss and plants. You'll also take home the knowledge of how to make and maintain a terrarium. No experience necessary. 10 spots available.
