Dyed with locally foraged California Acorns Acorns are a great dye material for those looking to forage for their color. They're a rich source of tannin, and often saught out for that reason to obstain darker browns and blacks when combined with ferrous sulphate. We are personally a huge fan of the warm browns acorns provided when unmodifed as its quite different than the chestnuts and walnuts we purchase! This dye is a great way to wear a little piece of autumn all year round. In many cases, the fades and color shifts adds to the beauty and history of these garments. Please wash on cold with similar colors.
