About the Poster The full title of this Soviet propaganda poster is "Against Religion - for the Industrial Financial Plan, for the Five Year Plan in Four Years." In the original Russian, this is «Против религии - за промфинплан, за пятилетку в 4 года». On the bottom right of the poster, you can see the following words which representatives of the old regime are trying to derail the train with (though will no doubt fail): "Religious prejudices, delusion, religion, avarice, drunkenness, truancy, foolishness." In Russian, the words are «Религиозные предрассудки, бредительство, религия, рвлчество, пьянство, прогулы, врак». The poster was made sometime in the 1930s. The artist is Yuri Ivanovi Pimenov (Юрий Иванови Пименов).
