About the Poster How Did You Help the Front? (Russian: Ты чем помог фронту?) is a popular WWII Soviet propaganda poster created in 1941 by Dmitry Moor (Russian: Дмитрий Моор). The poster is similar to another famous work by Moor, Have You Volunteered? (1920). Both posters seek to evoke a strong emotional pressure on Russian men to volunteer and serve in the Red Army. How Did You Help the Front? proved less popular than the earlier Have You Volunteered? - perhaps because of the less nostalgic image, perhaps because the suggestion of the front line was a bit too violent.
