Gary is a thunderous collaboration between EQD and Lee Kiernan of Idles to craft an outrageously powerful and quirky drive pedal fitting for a touring rock band with a massive sound. Wild and raucous, Gary's got it all! The EQD Gary started out as a fairly simple request by Lee Kiernan to create a compact version of the EarthQuaker Gray Channel overdrive – a mainstay on Lee's board and a huge part of his main drive tone. This all worked out quite well, but in adventurous EQD spirit, if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing! Gary became something else entirely from this juncture with the addition of a second channel.
