Reinventing a classic.   The cast-iron base, drawers & swinging doors are all reclaimed pieces from an antique Singer machine. The base was already so well-preserved (the gold details are original!), that we just added a clear coat to continue to protect it.  The floating back grounds the piece without making it feel too bulky.  The grate on the back & door sides is also salvage material.  Custom top shelf with antique cast-iron brackets create unity from top-to-bottom. The Alexander bar features ample bottle & wine glass storage, accessible prep space, & a small footprint.
