That will ensure that the paint doesn’t get down in the cracks of the lettering. If it does, you can simply get a toothpick or a little scraper and remove it quickly. After your piece is clearcoated, you can take a fine point /ultra fine point sharpie and have your child write their name where it says from: finished kits come as shown. Your child will still need to write their name in.
