Glacier Country Collection Platform Bed

This robust and attractive platform style bed incorporates a classic spindle style headboard with sleek, more modern looking side rails and footboard creating a modern style bed with a hint of rustic style!  The superior mattress support foundation allows for use without a box spring. Like all Montana Woodworks furniture, this bed is handcrafted in the U.S.A. using solid, U.S. grown pine. The mortise and tenon joinery system employed by our artisans has been used for millennia to join multiple components into a single, solid and strong assembly thus ensuring a truly heirloom quality piece that will last for generations to come. Two log side rails per side increase the strength and rigidity while simultaneously adding value. This one of a kind "Glacier Country" look is achieved by removing the outer bark while leaving the inner stratum or "Cambium" layer.
