"A Splash of Caution" Original Oil Painting
$5,800.00
Most die-hard whitetail hunters will tell you that a mature buck is a different animal. By the tie he’s reached maturity, he’s got enough years under his belt that he’s seen and heard it all, and has a knack for avoiding danger. Often you’ll never know you’ve spooked one until it’s too late, if you know at all. It may be a sudden stomp from behind you as he winds you in the stand, or a subtle splash as he slips out of his bedding area and crosses a creek. Success and failure often come down to the little things when hunting a big whitetail. That’s why I love this scene, as well as the title “A Splash of Caution,” submitted by a follower on social media after I completed the original.
