Red on Yellow

This was a small study of a yellow lab that I did in preparation for a larger piece to be used on a dog food package. I enjoy exercises like this to expand my horizons and try new things. I work quickly and from instinct so that I can’t overthink anything. The result is often fresh, loose and comes from a good place. I’m always trying to find was to bring this style into my larger pieces, but often it shows up best in smaller ones.
