American landscape painting, 1920s.  Acquired from the estate of a Houston, Texas art collector.  Painted on wood Serene lake view with mountains and trees in deep blues, pinks and greens. "Lake Wood Cal" written on the canvas along with PG, the signature of the artist Handmade wood frame most likely adapted to suit the painting. It is slightly large for it and its condition reflects its age somewhat but can easily be improved with a bit of extra care A special, calming piece with an original eye for color Dimensions: approximately 16 3/4" x 11 1/2" All Sales Are Final
