Seeing a three toed Sloth hanging upside down in a tree that was growing out of sand on a tropical beach was unforgettable. The Sloth, for me (and I'm sure many would agree), is the spirit of the Trees in animal form. My intention for this drawing was to create an intergalactic Sloth capable of inner stellar space travel, and also a homely image that encapsulates the aesthetic beauty of trees.
