The remarkable woodblock print "Ise-Shima Kokuritsu Koen" (Ise-Shima National Park) is by Hideo Nishiyama (1911-1989). Phenomenal nature image of Ise-Shima National Park at sunset. Printer: Shinmi, Carver: Nagashima, and Unsodo publisher seal on the left margin. Title "Iseshima Kokuritsu Koen" (Iseshima National Park), Artist's name "Nishiyama Hideo saku" and dated "Showa 35 nen" (1960) in Japanese on the right margin. "Gei" watermark on the upper left margin corner. Very different and unique style woodblock print. Hard to find these old original first edition prints nowadays.  Hideo Nishiyama (1911 - 1989) was born in Kyoto. He was a well-known (Nihon-ga) Japanese painting artist in Japan. Unsodo published "The Woodblock Prints -National Parks Series" by Hideo Nishiyama and Kaii Higashiyama in 1960.  Ise-Shima National Park Ise-Shima National Park covers central Mie Prefecture, including most of the Shima Peninsula.
