Show Horse Medal on Pearl Necklace

This lovely 1 1/2" solid bronze or sterling medal is gorgeous! Reminiscent of the time frame during which Alfred Munnings was painting, this medal features a beautiful thoroughbred horse head in profile.  Bronze medals such as this  were given as awards at equestrian competitions in Europe. This example has been prong set in sterling silver and suspended from a 19" adjustable necklace made from hand-knotted freshwater pearls. The sterling version of this necklace will be made-to-order.
