6 Week Wheel Beginner Throwing Class

Ready to get your hands dirty and make some pottery?  In 6 weeks you will learn the fundamentals of pottery from start to finish. Whether you are a beginner who has never touched clay or someone looking to brush up on their skills this class is perfect for you and will feature hands on instruction. This class mainly focuses on mugs and bowls but we welcome you to be as creative as you want. We will go over throwing, trimming, carving/attaching, handles, decorating and glazing and more. This class will be instructed by Meghan Angelis, owner of Salty Ceramics. It will be once a week for 2 hours for 6 weeks on the specific day you signed up for. The cost of this series is $225 per person and includes 1 block of 25 pounds of brown speckled clay. Additional clay will be available for purchase however you typically only need the one block.
