Edge Grain Cherry Custom Countertop

    Cherry mostly contains warm orange hues, though in rare circumstances they have an almost red-like coloration. The sapwood features a blonde color.  We do believe that the wide range of photos we've offered here properly demonstrates the range you should expect.  Rarely does Sapwood end up being more than 10% of the butcher block. I would say that it *never* exceeds 20%. Cherry may not have the same history as maple when it comes to butcher block because it tends to be a little softer, but rest assured: its rich history in furniture making makes it a find choice among our selection for butcher block. Its warm texture brightens the spirit of your home, and as it darkens into a deeper red with time, you will find that it acts like wine.  It's only finer with age.
