WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Discover the major wine denominations of Northern Italy’s Piemonte or Piedmont as they say in English. Explore the famous appellations of Asti, Gavi, Barolo, Barbaresco and much more. Learn where they're located, what grape varieties they're made from, their styles and importance, and an introduction to foods and culture of the regions. A portion of the class will be dedicated to review of southern Italian regions covered in prior classes.
