Wine 101

My First Wine Class Delve into the basics of wine from grape to glass in this two-hour class for beginning students.  Learn how wine is made, how to decode wine labels, how to taste & talk about wine and the most important grapes and styles.  We'll also teach you how to buy wine, store it, serve it and pair it with food. The tasting of 6 wines will focus on the structure of wine, various styles and main grape varieties. This wine workshop about wine fundamentals may be taken as part of our Intro Series or individually a la carté. Your wine 101 workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the full series if you would like to continue on.
