The Bird, Middle Finger Earrings, Sterling Silver

These earrings are definitely conversation starters! Sterling silver was pressed solid (die struck) into impressions of the middle finger, both front and back.  This process is done using a hydraulic press.  Then they’re sawed out by hand and soldered to jump rings to make charms that dangle from handmade sterling silver earrings wires.  They measure 1.50 inches (3.8cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the charm and at the widest, about .25 inch (6.5mm).
